LEARN ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR, KARINE MAKARTICHAN!
Karine started drawing when she was five years old. In 2000 Karine was accepted into the Fine Arts program at the State Pedagogical University of Armenia and continued working as a fine arts lecturer at the same university for nine years after graduation. And since graduation, she has participated in more than 25 exhibitions in Armenia, Russia, Italy, France, Belgium, and Turkey.
Karine has around 19 years of illustrator’s experience and since then has illustrated many picture books. She had an art studio in Waltham, Massachusetts from 2015 to 2018, where she worked on her illustrating projects and, also, she had a lot of students who visited the studio to learn drawing, painting, illustrating, and many more art types.
